Nous venons de simplifier grandement le processus de création d’une petite annonce.
Lorsque vous vous trouvez à la page d’accueil des petites annonces et que vous cliquez sur le bouton « Passer une annonce », on vous demande tout d’abord de quel type d’annonce il s’agit (achat, vente, échange, recherche de manuels). A l’étape suivante, on vous demandait jusque là de choisir le produit référent de votre annonce.
Certains se retrouvaient bloqués à cette étape, ne connaissant parfois pas la référence exacte du produit, ou parfois même tout simplement car leur annonce concernant plusieurs produits, il ne comprenaient pas pourquoi ils devaient en choisir un seul (la possibilité était donnée à l’étape suivante d’en ajouter d’autres).
Puisqu’il fallait absolument un produit pour créer son annonce, les plus acharnés passaient alors à l’étape suivante de création du produit. C’était parfois nécessaire lorsque le produit est absent de notre base de données, mais la plupart du temps, cela donnait bien du fil à retordre à nos content managers (c’est à dire ceux qui s’occupent de tenir à jour notre base de données de produits) : doublons de produits, références un peu légères (ex: guitare fender) ou encore packs de produits (platines CDJ 2000 + DJM 900), etc.
Face à ces mauvaises expériences utilisateurs, nous avons décidé de simplifier le processus. Si vous êtes sur la fiche d’un produit et cliquez sur le bouton pour passer une annonce, c’est comme avant, l’annonce est automatiquement liée à ce produit (vous pouvez en ajouter d’autres bien entendu). Par contre, dans les autres cas, vous arrivez directement à la page de saisie de votre annonce. Un champ texte vous permet de saisir le ou les produits liés à votre annonce, qu’ils existent ou non dans notre base de données, sans bloquer le processus.
Nous essayons ensuite en tâche de fond de déterminer les bons produits automatiquement. Si rien n’est trouvé, l’annonce ne sera visible que dans le flux général ou via la recherche. Si nous trouvons les bons produits, l’annonce sera rangée au bon endroit.
