  10. Can I just say what a relief to uncover somebody who genuinely understands what they’re discussing on the internet. You certainly realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More and more people should look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you’re not more popular given that you surely possess the gift.

  17. Right — been on this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I could never work out what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, fractions or decimals. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s here lucky 15 bet and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What actually shifted things for me was the more serious extras. The implied probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its design feels a bit basic — not much flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.

So yeah. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

  21. Aw, this was a very good post. Spending some time and actual effort to generate a great article… but what can I say… I hesitate a lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.

  22. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

  49. So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never figure out what an ew payout actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it shows the return with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s over at each way odds calculator — free, no signup.

What genuinely shifted things for me was the nerdier tools. The probability converter that shows the overround, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its layout is pretty plain — zero polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s fine although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a fair few « wait, that’s it? » moments.
