Recherche vocale avec Google Chrome

Si vous utilisez l’excellent navigateur Google Chrome pour surfer sur AF, vous pouvez désormais faire des « recherches vocales » via le moteur de recherche général (boîte de recherche en haut de toutes les pages) ou encore dans les petites annonces (produits, musiciens, salles de répet.). Cliquez simplement sur le bouton  pour ne plus avoir qu’à dicter votre pensée. Un très bon point pour l’accessibilité !

Reste bien entendu à voir ce que cela donne avec des références produits parfois complexes mais les quelques tests que l’on a pu faire jusque là sont plutôt satisfaisants !

  41. So — have been messing about with this thing for about a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

    What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

    The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it spits out returns with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it lives at yankee bet return calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

    The thing that genuinely made a difference is the more serious tools. There’s an implied probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

    Not all sunshine though. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

    Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
