Nous venons de profiter d’une petite mise à jour graphique des pages affichant un tuto ou une astuce pour introduire une nouvelle fonctionnalité, à savoir la possibilité de commenter le contenu en question.

Commentaire sur tuto/astuce

Le système fonctionne de la même manière que pour les tests, dossiers ou news : le premier commentaire va créer un sujet dans les forums qui servira à la discussion. Lorsqu’un premier commentaire est fait, l’auteur du tuto ou de l’astuce est prévenu par email afin qu’il puisse suivre le sujet et éventuellement répondre.

  20. So — have been messing about with this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

    How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and get a shock. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

    The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at how many bets in a lucky 15 and it’s free with no account nonsense.

    One thing that really made a difference were the more serious extras. The implied probability converter that shows the overround, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

    It’s not perfect mind. Its design is pretty plain — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but you asked.

    Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I’d always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at ew trixie and it’s free with no account nonsense.

    What actually shifted things for me is the nerdier extras. They’ve got an probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m spreading across selections.

    Not all sunshine though. Its layout looks a bit basic — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

    Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me a load of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

It also handles the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at dutch betting formula and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
