L’heure est au ménage estival sur Audiofanzine et, au cas où vous ne l’auriez pas remarqué, plusieurs pans de notre base de données ont déjà fait l’objet d’un petit coup de plumeau. En dehors des changements de structure, plus de cent nouvelles catégories ont ainsi déjà vu le jour, et la liste devrait encore s’allonger, l’objectif étant d’avoir une base produits mieux organisée et plus en phase avec le marché actuel.

C’est ainsi, par exemple, que les contrebasses ont désormais rejoint la catégorie Basse ou que les consoles DJ sont désormais réparties entre 2, 3 et 4 voies et plus. Mais c’est surtout l’informatique musicale qui, pour l’heure, a fait l’objet des plus grosses modifications, avec notamment l’apparition d’une sous-catégorie MAO sur mobiles & tablettes, ou encore l’ajout de dizaines de catégories qui manquaient, que ce soit au niveau matériel ou logiciel (interfaces Thunderbolt, logiciels de mesure & calibrage, etc.).

Bref, n’hésitez pas à aller découvrir tout cela et à faire vos commentaires, sachant que cette refonte est encore loin d’être achevée et qu’elle va prochainement s’attarder sur les catégories Studio, Instruments électroniques, Guitare, Sono et éclairage.

Reading this brought back the satisfaction I used to get from blogs ten years ago, and a stop at amplebench kept that nostalgic quality alive, sites that capture what was good about an earlier era of internet writing are increasingly precious and this one is doing that without feeling like a deliberate throwback at all.

Reading this site over the past week has changed how I evaluate content in this space, and a look at nuartlion extended that recalibration, the standards I bring to reading on the topic have shifted upward as a direct result of regular exposure to this kind of work and that shift will outlast any single reading session.

Worth saying that the writing carries a particular kind of authority without making any explicit claims to it, and a stop at ardenbrisk extended that earned authority feeling, sites that demonstrate expertise through the quality of their explanations rather than by stating credentials are sites I trust most and this site has it.

  45. Thanks for the simple approach, too many sites bury the actual point under layers of unnecessary words, but here every line earns its place, and a look at focusmechanism showed the same care for the reader which is something I will remember the next time I need answers on a topic.
