  25. Right — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

    One thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the nerdier tools. There’s an implied probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

    Couple of gripes. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

    Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

    The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I never could work out what an ew payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

    The single bet calculator is the bit I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and you get returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I always mess it up.     So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
