  8. Right — been on this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, small stakes, for context.

    How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I never could figure out what an ew return actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

    Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s over at convert odds and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

    What genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier bits. They’ve got an probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

    Couple of gripes. The design is very functional, let’s say — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

    Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If anyone still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

  34. So — been using this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am UK based, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

    How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

    The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at ew single — free, no signup.

    Couple of gripes. Its interface is pretty plain — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

    Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a fair few « wait, that’s it? » moments.
