  1. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

  14. So — been on this thing for about six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I could never figure out what an e/w return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — type in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s over at kalkulator odds single bet and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that genuinely shifted things for me was the geekier tools. They’ve got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The layout feels very functional, let’s say — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a fair few « wait, that’s it? » moments.

  25. So — been using this thing for about a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.

The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an e/w return actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s here matched betting finder and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What really changed how I bet were the geekier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout is very functional, let’s say — zero polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

  35. May I simply say what a relief to uncover an individual who actually knows what they are talking about on the internet. You definitely understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important. A lot more people have to look at this and understand this side of your story. I can’t believe you’re not more popular given that you most certainly possess the gift.

  41. However, it is virtually all done with tongues rooted solidly in cheeks, and everyone has absolutely nothing but absolutely love for his or her friendly neighborhood scapegoat. The truth is, he is not just a pushover. He is basically that special variety of person strong enough to take all of that good natured ribbing for exactly what it is.
