Un carrousel (« manège » en anglais), est, d’après Wikipédia, un

élément d’IHM consistant à afficher une liste d’items défilants, souvent de manière circulaire (3D) à l’image du Flip 3D dans Windows Vista et Windows 7 (touche Win+Tab), ou du célèbre affichage des albums dans iTunes

Ceci nous permet donc d’inclure dans un article, une news ou un tuto/astuce un bloc d’images que l’on peut faire défiler en utilisant les flèches, ou au doigt sur tablette ou smartphone. Le résultat est assez sympa, voire ludique.
