بالنسبالي بقعد أطحن في Gates of Olympus، وصاحبي مش بيقوم من على Book of Dead.

  10. OK — have been messing about with this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it’s here matched betting automatcher and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that genuinely made a difference were the nerdier bits. There’s an probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The design looks pretty plain — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a load of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

  16. Right — been using this thing for about five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at singles calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the geekier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly calculator — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout looks pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

  17. Right — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here ace odds lucky 63 — free, no signup.

The thing that really shifted things for me was the geekier extras. They’ve got an probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The design looks very functional, let’s say — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, barely any ads, works. If you still does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
